When hooked up to a cable or dish system this tv is outstanding. Don't even try to get any reception with the antenna provided unless you live next door to a transmitter. If you are buying this as an emergency back up, you will need a very good indoor antenna or outside antenna depending on how far the transmitters are where you live.
