I am very happy with the LC52LE700UN, except for it's ability to pass through sound.
The picture quality is great, and setup was very simple.
My one gripe is that the TV is unable to process anything beyond stereo sound. Given it's optical out, I had expected it to at least pass through 5.1
Given that it only has two speakers I had no expectations of great sound out of the unit itself, it's main purpose is to show video, and it excels at that. But I was under the false belief that it could pass 5.1 (or 7.1 or anything besides stereo) downstream to the sound system.
The end result is that I have to manually switch between inputs on the stereo whenever I switch inputs on the TV, and I was hoping that the TV could have done this switching itself.
I'm still happy with my purchase, I just wish that this limitation was made clear before I bought it.Get more detail about Sharp AQUOS LC52LE700UN 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV.
