Where To Buy Samsung LN40B630 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color Thursday, October 8, 2009

This review is about Amazon rather than the Samsung TV. I believe that review here should include the experience with Amazon and the delivery too.

First of all, Amazon failed on the delivery issue here big time. And it's NOT "CEVA" fault. It took Amazon a week to deliver the TV to "CEVA"! The customer service at Amazon was also rude. He claimed it's my fault that I have selected the free delivery! Well, why Amazon offers that service if it can't deliver in a reasonable time? Technically I got the TV in 13 days. First time I have problems with Amazon.

The TV is made by (SAMEX) in Tijuana, Mexico. Does anyone believe that "in-home" assembly is the same as "third-party" assembly? I doubt it. Well it will take a while to see the defaults. Amazon didn't disclose that TV is made by a third party though. Anyone have experience with this issue before?

The panel is most likely "A" panel (The serial number starts with AUYK). I couldn't figure out the type of panel this TV have for sure. Anyone knows how to find out about that?
