Samsung LN40B630 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color
The Samsung LN40B630 DOES/DOES NOT exist!
Try going into Samsung's download center for updates. There is a LN40B610 OR 640 but NO 630.
I hooked up my Sony Blu-Ray player [aka PS3 aka Super Linux computer] & got the message:
'Playback of BDs are prohibited on this system.
To play you must first update the system software.'
I just put in a support request. Will follow on when I know more.
My previous review before arrival was a 5 star. Based on about 1 year research. Samsung is quality brand & they are far ahead or the pack in 120/240 hz motion blur.
It arrived 4 days before estimated. Had it up & running in about 45 minutes. ******** 15 **** was finding the On/Off buttons - I had not pushed the power plug in solid. They really need to put a pull off decal where they are!!!!
With an engineering background, I read the user guide. In the back was all the Linux credits so I knew it was based on a Linux OS computer.
BAD NEWS Samsung uses their own patented flash memory so you are locked in buying ridiculously priced devices [$80 for usb wireless dongle]
